What is it ?

Network drive is a centralized location for user to access data assuming they have right  access level.

How can i create batch file to map network drive ?

1) Run notepad and type -  net use x: \\drive mapping /persistent:yes ( where \\drive = location and name of the drive, /persistent:yes means that the drive will stay there each time the user logs on).

2) Then save as all files and call it zzz.bat ( where zzz = could be any name)

3) save file to any location on user computer. Once you double click bat file it will create network drive on user computer. You can see network drive on user My Computer.

Note: Mapping of network drive also can be done from My Computer > Tools > Map Network Drive and also can be done from command prompt. Above method is useful when user doesn't have access to command prompt and map network drive option is disable in user My Computer section.
