Move the cursor
• To move the cursor, roll the trackball.
Exit a screen or move back a page in the browser
• To exit a screen or move back a page in the browser, press the Escape key.
Move up or down a screen
• To move up a screen, press 3.
• To move down a screen, press 9.
Move to the top or bottom of a screen
• To move to the top of a screen, press 1.
• To move to the bottom of a screen, press 7.
Move to the next or previous item
• To move to the next item, press 6.
• To move to the previous item, press 4.
Move to a list item or menu item
• To move to a list item or menu item, type the first letter of the item.
Select or clear a check box
• To select or clear a check box, click the trackball.
Highlight adjacent items
• To highlight adjacent items, hold the Shift key and roll the trackball.
Delete a highlighted item
• To delete a highlighted item, press the Backspace/Delete key.
Switch applications
• To switch applications, hold the Alt key and press the Escape key. Continue to hold the Alt key and highlight an application. Release
the Alt key.
Return to the Home screen
• To return to the Home screen, press the End key.
Lock the keyboard or device
• To lock the keyboard, on the Home screen, hold the asterisk (*) key.
• To unlock the keyboard, press the Send key and the asterisk (*) key.
• To lock the device, set a password. On the Home screen, hold the asterisk (*) key.
• To unlock the device, press the Send key and the asterisk (*) key. Type your password.
Switch notification profiles
• To switch between the Default and Vibrate notification profiles, on the Home screen, hold the # key.
Turn on a theme or notification profile
• To turn on a theme or notification profile, highlight a theme or notification profile. Press the Space key.
