| Shortcut keys | Description |
| Ctrl + A | Select all contents of the worksheet. |
| Ctrl + B | Bold highlighted selection. |
| Ctrl + D or ctrl + R | Fill data down or to the right through selected cells. |
| Ctrl + I | Italic highlighted selection. |
| Ctrl + K | Insert link. |
| Ctrl + U | Underline highlighted selection. |
| Ctrl + 5 | Strikethrough highlighted selection. |
| Ctrl + P | Printing dialog box to print the spreadsheat |
| Ctrl + Z | Undo last action. |
| Ctrl + F9 | Minimize current window. |
| Ctrl + F10 | Maximize currently selected window. |
| Ctrl + F6 | Switch between open workbooks / windows. |
| Ctrl] and ; (semicolon) or Ctrl and : (colon) | Insert the current date or time. |
| F2 | Enable editing within a cell |
| F11 | Create a chart from range of data |
| Ctrl + ~ | Toggle a display of formulas. |
| Ctrl + Enter | Fill selected cells with an entry you typed in one cell. |

| Alt + Enter | Insert a new line within a cell. |
| Shift + F2 | Add a comment to a cell. |
