Make folder and content within undeleteable and only accessible to yourself in Windows 7
If you are ever worried about your private data in your computer then you are in right place, follow below trick to make your data only accessible to yourself. There are different software which do the same trick but with some cost. Here we will use Windows special command to do this.
As for this tutorial we will be creating folder called "Safe" in our C: drive and make it private (undeletable and only accessible to yourself).
Note: File system must be NTFS, make sure your account is member of administrator group.
Step I - Create a folder called safe in your C drive (for this tutorial purpose).
Step II - Go to start > Run > type CMD and hit OK.
Step III - As we have created a folder called safe in C: drive we need to be on root directory through command prompt, type cd.. and hit enter and do this again till you are in c: drive.

Step IV - Once you are in c: drive type
cacls safe /e /c /d %username%

here, safe = name of a folder, replace this with name of your folder.
This command will make the folder “Private” inaccessible and un-deletable. If any body tries to
access the folder or delete that, the following message will be shown:

Step V - when you want to access the folder for your need then type the following syntax in the
command prompt and hit “Enter”:
cacls safe /e /c /g %username%:f

here, safe = name of a folder, replace this with name of your folder.
Note: File system must be NTFS, make sure your account is member of administrator group. This trick also works on Windows XP and Vista o/s.
