The shell: command can be used to open a special folder directly from the Start, Search menu or from the Run dialog. You can also create shortcut of these folders.

To Open Special Folders

I) On your Start Search menu or on run dialog type Shell:command

To Create Shortcut for Special Folders

I) Right Click on the location where you want to create a shortcut ( we are doing it on desktop) and click on  new and shortcut as shown below

 III) Type the shell command in a box given as shown below, make sure to put explorer.exe infront of the shell command with space in between and click on Next.

IV) Give name of your choice  to your shortcut and click on Finish.

V) Shortcut of your choice and name will be created as shown below

VI) Double click on shortcut to go to your folder.
