How do i reduce the size of an Excel file ?

Size of the Excel file is mostly reduce by clearing borders that are applied to all the rows of the spreadsheet. Follow following steps to clear the borders
Step I - Press Ctrl+End to get to the last row of the data in the spreadsheet.
Step II - Move down one row.
Step III - Hold the <Shift> and <Ctrl> key, press the right arrow key once, then the down arrow.
Step IV - Select Edit>Clear>Formatting.
