How to Remove My Computer from Desktop and Start Menu (Windows XP)
This Registry guide removes my computer from desktop and start menu, Follow following instruction on how to change this
Open your Registry and go to Hkey_Current_user\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\policies\NonEnum.
Double click on {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}, if you can't see this value you need to creat a new DWORD Value.

3. To remove my computer from desktop and start menu put value data to 1 and to show put value data to 0.

4. Restart your PC for the change to take affect.
To Create DWORD Value
- In Registry Editor go to Edit > New > Dword Value. Rename the name with this value {20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
