Improved Windows Search
This is a new feature which allows for faster and more thorough searches. It als provides IT administrators with better per-user policy  oversight and the ability to manage resource utilization by controlling how desktop search accesses network resources. AeroSnap Desktop Feature
This is a new feature of Windows7 where if you pull a window to either edge of the desktop, it automatically makes each screen half the screen and compares the two windows side by side.

DirectAccess
This features allows users to directly connect to their work PC remotely. It uses IPv6 and IPSec protocols to create a secure, two-way connection from a remote user's PC to the corporate network. Users don't have to create VPN connection to log on to their corporate network. IT administrators enjoy the ease of distributing patches and updates whenever remote workers are connected to the network.

Multiple Active Firewall Policies
This application automatically set firewall policies depending on the type of network connection choosen such as home, public, or work. It also allows IT professionals to create multiple sets of rules for remote and desktop employees.

Upgraded Windows Recovery Environment
Lots of new recovery options added in Windows 7 such as repairing boot-level startup issues,checking for defective memory,returning the system to earlier configurations and much more.

Improved Backup Utility
Additional backup feature such as folder backup is added on Windows 7.

AeroPeek Desktop Feature
This is a new feature added for the ease of O/S use.

AppLocker
This application helps administrator to block certain applications from running on desktop.It can also be used to block unauthorized or unlicensed software and applications.
