How to add Programs to Windows 7 Startup Folders to run automatically when system starts
Click on start menu > Run > and type msconfig and hit enter. Now go to startup tab as shown below and here you can see what programs runs automatically when you start your PC. You can add other different programs on to your startup folders however, in Windows 7, the startup folder is a hidden system folder that is not located in the same place as the startup folders in Windows XP.

This article shows you an easy way to add programs to the Windows 7 startup folder for both the current user and all users of the computer. Firstly create a shortcut of a program you want to add to startup folder, to do that right click on program from start menu and than drag and drop it to your desktop and click on create shortcut here, you will have your shortcut to your desktop as shown below ( we have created shortcut of calculator as example)

Step I - Go to start menu > All programs > Right click startup folder > and click on open as shown below

StepII - This will instantly open Windows Explorer directly to the current user’s startup folder, Simply drop the new shortcut from the desktop into this folder and restart your computer. Calculator should now load at Windows boot up.

Note: startup folder for the current user resides at:
c:\users\<username>\appdata\roaming\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs\startup
Adding program to startup folder for All users
Steps to add startup folder for all users is similar to one adding for current users except while on startup folder click on open all users instead of just open (as shown below).

c:\program data\microsoft\windows\start menu\programs\startup
