Windows O/s by default has lots of hidden files and folders, they are hidden and concealed for security reasons. If you want to see these hidden files and folders than follow following simple steps

Step I -  Go to  My Computer.
Step II - Click the Organize link located on the upper left side of its toolbar.
Step III - Click  Folder Search Options.
Step IV - Cick the View Tab.
Step V - Under Advanced Settings, click Show hidden files, folders, or drives.
Step VI - Click OK and you are all done.
