How to Hide and Conceal Hard Disk Drives in Windows 7
There are times when you want your hard drive hidden from peering eyes. By hiding hard drive you also hide everything within the folders giving you more privacy. There are different ways to do this but here we will look onto simple procedure using gpedit.msc

Follow following steps to Hide and Conceal Hard Disk Drives in Windows 7
Step I - Click Start and in the search field type gpedit.msc and press Enter as shown below.

Step II - Navigate to, User Configuration — Administrative Templates — Windows Components — Windows Explorer as shown below.

Step III - Double click on Hide these specified drives in My Computer and then Click Enable and from the drop down menu select the drive you want to hide as shown below.
